Argentine Patagonia, selected among the best destinations in the world.
A major journalistic survey carried out by Flight Network consulted over 500 among specialized journalists
in tourism, international travel agencies, famous bloggers and publishers of travel and tourism magazines, has compiled
a list called World's Best Journeys 2018 containing the 50 most amazing locations in the world, including
Argentina Patagonia for spectacular glaciers, volcanoes, lake and Andean landscapes, waterfalls, unique flora and fauna.
The Argentine Patagonia goes from the Cordillera of the Andes (west) to the Atlantic Ocean (east) and from the Rio Colorado to the deep
south of the austral continent, considering the mythical Cape Horn the extreme point, before entering the Antarctic Peninsula.
The Argentine Patagonian region includes: Neuquen, Rio Negro, Chubut, Santa Cruz, to which is added the mythical
Terra del Fuoco, island for half Argentina and half Chilean, with the famous capital Ushuaia (Argentina), last point
inhabited planet and port of embarkation for cruises both to Cape Horn and in Antarctica.
The Chilean part of Patagonia essentially includes the park of the Torri del Paine, which can be reached via
from Puerto Natales, then Punta Arenas, from where the Australis cruises depart for Cabo Horn.
